The color of dream and dreams lost
	To a cavern quivering with fortitude lost
	And physicians trying to put everything back in its place.

The color of cowards and ambition lost
	To a writhing mass of collectors holding bits of your soul
	And empty metaphor coming to console you.

The color of sin wrapped in good intentions
	Flung into the corners of memory,
	Standing by to be dug up by an uncaring fatalist's future,
	Filled with a void of the apathy of today.

Give me red,
Give me blue.
